Andi Taufan Garuda Putra is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Amartha, a fintech P2P lending that modernizes the microlending sector and provides alternative channels to capital for the unbanked population in Indonesia. To date, Amartha has disbursed over IDR 3,27 trillion loan to more than 622,803 micro-entrepreneurs in the villages and 100% of them are women.
Former Special Staff of The President of Republik Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, and Former Consultant, IBM. Recipient of numerous awards including: Young Changemaker (2010), Ashoka; Satu Indonesia Award (2011), Astra; Laureate Global Fellow (2013), International Youth Foundation; Ganesha Innovation Champion Awards (2014), Taufan holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School where he was an Edward S. Mason Fellow and bachelor degree in business from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
