Tamara is the co-founder of Fortuna Cools, a startup building sustainable coolers made from coconuts to replace plastic foam insulation once and for all. Her new DTC Nutshell Coolers are sustainable and collapsible, designed for outdoor lovers. Tamara studied at Stanford University, where she earned a B.S. in Behavioral Biology and an M.S. in Sustainable Development. Before founding Fortuna Cools, Tamara worked on community-based conservation and environmental education in the U.S. and in her home countries, Spain and Mexico.
