Marek Forysiak is the Founder and Executive Chairman of SmartPay, one of the leading payment service providers in Vietnam.

Before establishing SmartPay in January 2018, Marek was the CEO at Movencorp, Inc. as well as a Deputy CEO and member of the board of directors of VP Bank Finance dba FE Credit, Vietnam’s number one consumer finance company.

Prior to joining Moven and FE Credit, Marek was the Chief Executive Officer and member of the of directors at Renaissance Credit based in Moscow, Russia and led RenCredit into become one of the region’s leading consumer finance companies across Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Marek’s global financial service career spans over 30 years that also includes senior executive roles at JPMorgan Chase and AIG. He has advised and/or invested into over a dozen early-stage financial technology companies. Marek is a graduate of Columbia University’s executive management program, retired Major from the United States Army Reserves and fluent in both Polish and Russian.
