Ryan Shannon
Ryan spent the first 25 years of his career in the marketing agency world. He has worked with 100’s of brands in his career in a broad range of sectors including fashion, automotive, travel, financial services, charity retail and FMCG. Starting his career pre-Internet Ryan has worked through the introduction and growth of digital and social channels, learning to take advantage of the opportunities and leading digital transformation projects.
In 2019 Ryan took the leap to the brand side, joining BAM, Bamboo Clothing. The business has doubled in size in the last 2 years. With growth in their core UK market continuing, Ryan is now poised to take BAM global.
Ryan has challenged himself and the business to become internationally recognised as the best regenerative activewear in the world, in the next 5 years. A significant part of this is committing to become Impact Positive by 2030. We published our first Impact Positive Report in 2019, building on the well-established sustainability credentials that BAM had always had, but extended to include ambitious goals across people, water, chemical and land usage, waste as well as carbon.
