Vanessa Van Leusden
Vanessa van Leusden is Sr. Director Marketing and E-commerce for Paula’s Choice Europe. In this role she is part of the Paula’s Choice European Management Team and revenue responsible for Paula’s Choice Europe Direct To Consumer (DTC) and Market Places (Amazon and Bol) channels. She oversees all current and new European E-commerce websites, all current and new European Amazon presence, Brand Management and In-House Content Creation for Paula’s Choice Europe, Media buying, Acquisition and Awareness, Retention, E-mail and Referral and Product Marketing for Europe.
At Paula’s Choice, Vanessa has turned on the flywheel in Europe with her team: she step-changed brand impact and fuelled the acquisition engine, resulting in fast accelerating growth. Vanessa has a passion for and strong track record of building high-performing diverse teams, open feedback culture, raising the bar, applying the continuous learning cycle where ideas can be piloted and grow into big results. She believes the digital era and research from scientists like Byron Sharp and Les Binet have changed the marketing discipline fundamentally. The magic happens where the brain and the heart meet; this can truly set brands off.
Vanessa came to Paula’s Choice in 2018 from Dutch dairy company FrieslandCampina, where she was responsible for Media and Digital Marketing of all Dutch brands. Before embarking on her digital journey, Vanessa’s gained over 15 years of experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods. She has held
various Marketing positions at Nestlé, Unilever, PepsiCo and FrieslandCampina on brands such as
Nescafé, Lipton Ice Tea, Lays and Campina.
